How many divisions will we see?
How many religions will we see?
How many dissensions will we see?
And how many isms will we see?

The God is only one,
The globe is only one,
The nature is only one,
All human beings have two legs,
And they all die in the end,
So what is the fight for?
*
Man forgets,
That planet Earth is only a sojourn,
He thinks it is his permanent abode,
Where he ignores the God of death,
Who has his return ticket?
*
He belittles the time-tested idiom which is “as sure as death”,
And keeps hoping that only others will die,
He aspires to divide and rule,
So that he can become the Guru.
*
He doesn’t want to learn from Mother Nature,
Which is God’s second nature,
He thinks he has become the supremo,
By condoning the fact that he will ultimately have to go.
*
He starts from a hallowed platform,
Where the consensus was to respect all religions,
But he begins by demeaning other religions.
*
The understanding was to accommodate all isms,
But he starts by criticising other isms,
And while doing all this,
He forgets that his sojourn on planet Earth,
Will soon come to an end.
*
He creates continents,
He creates countries within continents,
He creates states within countries,
He fights wars to capture others’ territory,
He thinks he has a permanent address,
But his return ticket is waiting in the wings.
*
And when the moment arrives,
He leaves abruptly,
Leaving behind,
The divisions,
The religions,
The isms,
And the debates.
