We normally don’t realise the value of time and we tend to waste time. To realise the value of one year ask a student who has failed an exam. To realise the value of one month ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby. To realise the value of one week, ask a weekly magazine editor. To realise the value of one day ask a daily wage labourer with several kids to feed. To realise the value of one hour ask the lovers waiting to meet. To realise the value of one minute ask the person who has survived an accident. To realise the value of a millisecond ask the person who has won a silver medal in the Olympics.
Time is precious. The time we waste never comes back so value every moment that you have. Time monitors our existence. But time is stealthy. No one has ever seen it in person. Yet everyone has felt the tremors of time in various ways. Nonetheless, when the clock strikes time for a change we all can hear it. Time is the biggest mystery, healer, leveller, giver or even an opponent of mankind. It is most unpredictable and untamed. Having conquered the world one still loses to time. So beware of the wrath of time. Time is life. Needlessly wasting other’s time is no different than robbing and murder.
In our youth, we control and make use of time. In old age, time controls us, and we can only succumb to it. In our youth, no one feels the flow of time but during old age, time feels as heavy as a mountain, crushing us.
If you respect time, time will respect you.
