AAESOP’S FABLES: THE MONKEY AND THE DOLPHIN    Once, a Greek ship was wrecked near Piraeus, the port of Athens. The dolphins took the shipwrecked people ashore because they loved to help people. As was the custom, the pet monkeys also went on voyage with the people. One of the dolphins saw a monkey in the water. He thought it was a man and made it climb his back. Then he swam towards the shore.    “You are from Athens?” asked the dolphin. “Yes,” said the monkey. “My family is the noblest in the city.”    “Then you often visit Piraeus?” asked the dolphin.    “Yes,” replied the monkey.    “Piraeus is my friend.” The dolphin saw it was a monkey and not a man. The dolphin dumped the monkey in the water.    MORAL OF THE STORY: One falsehood leads to another.
